Good deal?

I can get 4awg for $.79 a foot. Maybe down lower like $.60 if I order a lot.

1/0 I can get for $1.50 a ft... down to maybe $1.25 or $1.10 if I buy alot.

What did you guys pay?

Guy said they dont normally carry two, but could order it if I wanted a lot of it.

Your place sounds like better prices than this place.

If you are buying it for battery cables then call a local big rig diesel shop they have the heavy duty battery cables that is where I got cable for my F350 to make my own custom battery harness, I can't remember price but it was less than the welding shops.

I saw about 200 ft of 1/0 welding cable at the scrapyard testerday--37 cents a pound!!.If I wasnt so broke I would have bought some for my diesels dual battery setup--it still has the crappy factory aluminum clad copper cables on it,22 years old. I see some awesone stuff getting scrapped lately, and most of it isnt junk(yet!)--its just people want it gone before winter, and they probably need the money. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I think I paid $1.61/foot for 60' for 1/0 last time I got it. I live in a strange area. I just paid $20 for 32" of 4"x3/8" angle iron.

Back at my parents' place I got 2/0 for $1.25/foot and bought like 30'.
