Price on Mr Goodwrench 350

I'm thinking I would like to replace the tired TBI 350 in my truck this summer before I go to Nashville with it for school. I was thinking about the 330 horse 385 ft lb motor, but I don't want to deal with all of the computer problems and I don't have enough cash to do it right. So I'm thinking about getting the stock TBI 350 and just putting headers on it, good ignition and I already have flowmaster single 3" exhaust with high flow cat and ram air intake with K&N filter. What is the price on the motor and can anyone get me a part number so I can plug it into gmpartsdirect.com I'm thinking it's around the 1200 dollar range but I want to know for sure so I can start saving and plan my attack. Thanks guys and any tips are appreciated.

Not sure on the TBI, I got a pre 86 goodwrench 350 (2 piece rear main seal) and it was just over $1200, also had to buy a fly wheel and harm balancer since switching from a 305 which added a little more money. The 86 motor (1 piece rear main seal) would have cost about a hundred more. Not sure if TBI motors are different than carb motors (aside from the obvious intake and TBI unit)

Its more around the $2,000 range. We bought the 4-bolt version, but its still more than $1,200. The $1,200 is about the cost of the old style version (2 piece rear main, 90 degree intake bolts). Hell I'd buy the 330 H.O and swap the cam out for a computer compatible one. That would add around $100 for the cam and $300 for the intake and gaskets. Hell, the Vortec head will whoop stock TBIs and day of the week. You gotta get it.

I live in lasvegas I paid 1449.60 for the engine and another 91.46 for the damper.I needed this I went from 6cyl to the v8.with tax it all came out to 1652.79.Its the best thing i have done at this point.two pice rear main and four bolt block.it screams if i wanted to it will blister the 33s i have on it now.

The TBI crate motors are close to 2,000. THe old style carb ones are around 1200.
