Includes front and rear, and yes they will fit a D44.

Obviously these will not fit a 89' with 10 bolts since the original post says 73-78.

Right there not going to work on an 89', they use a different size banjo bolt from the older Dana 44's.

On ORD's website they say there adequate for up to a 6" lift, the line length is 23.5 so you can check if that will give you enough travel.
