Project 82 TCBF -10.13.9 - progress!!!

go for it then, 14sf are more expensive than that around here.
 
i still say go 14bff.. your not only planning for right now but you have to think about the future too.. do you think youll honestly stay at a 33" tire? why swap one axle in now or put money into an axle that you will eventually swap out?

you shouldnt be worried about clearence as long as your not rock climbing.. which i dont think you are. if anything you can shave it abit to reassure you

Well, to be honest, yes. If I do ever go any higher than a 33", it will only be to a 35". I learned on here, that as you go past that mark, this hobby starts getting realllllyyy expensive.

That's not very true. If your tires aren't reaching the bottom of the ruts, mud/trail you aren't going anywhere.

Going to a bigger axle when running only 33's is actually going to reduce your off road ability. Doing this negates any other performance improvements you spend your money on.

You'd be better off buying a lift and staying with smaller tires as an example, or working on the motor and leaving the suspension etc.
 
Been a while. A little update. Went to check into getting my tires at the local tire shop. Looks like I`m going to have to pass on the Interco TrXus MT. Here`s why. These are a special order tire. Now, on a special order tire, the local tire place does not warranty them. So, the only warranty that you will have will be the manufacturers warranty. So, it looks like a no go, as Interco doesn`t warranty their tires:mad:

So, looks like I`m going to go with the BFG MT. The manager said he had some other 33x12.5s in stock, but I forgot to ask which ones. Even if these are a special order, I will still have the warranty through BFG. I think they might even stock these, as I`ve seen customers with them there before. That would be a plus, because they have some pretty good services that are offered. Check them out: www.townfairtire.com
 
Town fair tire does have good service when i got my 38.5 tsls one of the tires was not seated on the rim so i called around and they said they would seat it for free so i took it there. They took the tire off the rim cleaned the tires bead they took a wire wheel to the rim and they put some bead sealer on the rim and put it all back together and filled her up to 30 PSI all for noting.

BTW I still gave them a tip 5 bucks
 
Haven't read the whole thread, but from what I'm seeing, got a couple of things to say:

1st) Wish I had been halfway as mature about making decisions when I was your age

2nd) I wish I had a ride even remotely as nice as yours when I was your age

Sounds like you've made a good decision and will have fun with your ride and will have something to build when you get a different DD in the future.

Glad you were able to pull the trigger on the BFG MT's. Although Trxus MT's are very stoudt, I understand your decision, as the warranty will protect you. You work very hard for your income, so you'll be able to focus on other projects. Please keep us informed on when you get your new sneakers. Pics are required to keep your balls from being busted, and they better be muddy. This is your fair warning! :D

thats where your wrong, that place wasn`t getting any of my money...I went with the TrXus MTs from NTW. I thought about the conversation we had, so I decided to go with Paul over at NTW.
