I`m trying, I`m trying...
I went out tonight and picked up a piece of angle iron, 6', and a piece of flat stock, to start working out the mounting issue...should finish it tomorrow, and hopefully get pics as well....

Let me start by saying for 2 weeks, my truck sat like this:

Alright.
We started by removing the tailgate and lights:
Then cut out the section of floor to be replaced:
Tailgate posts and tailpan removed and new posts put in place:
Reinforcement pieces that had to be cut to go on the bottome of the tailgate posts:
Because the body mounts were junk, I ordered the poly body mount kit from ORD. For now we just installed these two, and then the ones on the tailpan:
Because the metal behind the tail light buckets were rotted out, and there being no replacement parts for it, I had no choice but to cut the bad metal out. Here it is, cut and primed:

Here are the new tailgate posts, drilled and ready to go in:
Tailpan,tailgate post welded: (we ended up needing to put the brackets for the gate on the inside of the tailgate posts because with them on the way they were supposed to be, the gate wouldn`t fit, so the welds in there are a mess, but strong, none the less
)
Bed floor, cut and ready to go in:
Cab wall on the horses to start cutting...unfortunately, we didn`t get that far, and ended up going a different route:

Its not completely done, still have to grind down some welds, and through down some plastic, but it was good enough for me to head home for my moms birthday today.
Stupid me didn`t get any pictures with the top off.
But, I got some pictures with this top on
So, let me know what ya think. Should I bother with the cab wall, and just keep this, or should i get the cab wall cut up to the right size and put that on. I`ll be replacing the windows eventually with some lexan, as they`re scratched up pretty badly.
I also got around to put in my AC Shifter. Although I butchered the can up a bit, its in there. I`ll just have to make a new top out of thin sheet metal to cover the hole.

Thanks brother! How do you like the cap? It makes it look like a completly different truck.
I would really love to get the cab wall set up to go in, and see how it looks...then I can decide....I would kind of rather the cab wall though...
