Project Eat Soot

Guys....

Did a little thread cleanup here. EatSoot deserves a shot at a clean start to his build thread.

No harm / no foul. Let's carry on! :thumb:

Here a few pics of some progress got the Dana 60 bolted up, need to get the dually hubs off and out to get machined for SRW, will work on that in the next few days. The plan is to get most of the suspension together and bolted up then off for another bath before primer and painting takes place. Plus don't want to paint too much now have quite a bit of welding to do. I promise it will look better later. Some of you had asked to see some pics of the previous two Blazer / Jimmy pics I'll post up a couple.

That blazer looks good, but the Jimmy is awesome. I'm a little partial to the 1st gen ochre GMC's though.

looking good man!
love the other 2 as well, so I'm excited to see where you go with this one.

No I'm not going to run H1's, but I hear that they will bolt up to the dually setup. :dunno:

yeah, that's why I was asking, I saw the DRW setup...

Really :eek1:...$1500 and it came out looking like that after the buffer..:pimp:

Have you found any rust??

I like where you are going with this rig, and also pretty happy your thread stayed here. :waytogo:

It looks like you have the same custom ORD springs that I ordered. Mine are finally starting to almost get to a vertical position after adding a lot of weight so far. I'm curious where both of ours are going to end up when they are all finished. :dunno:

Those other two rigs looked pretty damn cool. Thanks for posting up some pics of them. :thumb:

One note: If I was to start my thread all over, I'd of used photobucket with all of my pics from the start, that way even non members can see them. My brothers like to take a peek on what I have going on sometimes and I have to give them my password to see all of the pics. I've fixed the first page in my thread, but have 6-7 more to fix. :doah:

Welcome aboard and keep up with the updates and pics..:D

Yes it does have the typical rust unfortunately rockers, little on the floor and down low just behind the door. The springs are Alcan but have ORD stickers. Maybe I should check out photobucket. Thanks!

Crap in trouble again. Man a guy gets plenty of nut shots around this site! Ha!

Sorry... :haha:

I guess we'll both learn together.. :D With all of the extra weight of your engine and my tube, we should be close to the same weight, I would think :dunno:

How much lift are those?

NorCal just read through those pages, Ah yes Stephen is going be pissed (again).
They are 6" lift springs.

ah, he only comes in maybe once a week, and that's if he even reads this.. go back and edit your post... ;)

Usually the problem is that they never move it at all. ;)
