Check it out.It's a start.I hope the pics aren't to crappy.All I have is my Razor for a camera.If someone can get them from photobucket to here so everyone can see them,feel free.They should be able to anyway,but who knows.
I got this truck from a friend in exchange for helping him with an axel swap and auto to manual conversion on the '88 K5 in the background.That project hasn't been started yet.Still waiting on him to bring me parts and get around to actually wanting to work on it.It's been to cold and rainy you know

It's a truck from the rear of the cab,forward and God only knows what the rear of the frame is.I was told it was a K5.
At any rate,the rear has stacked 4" blocks and the front is 4" springs.Surprisingly it sits level.PO tried mounting a shortbed on this frame set-up,but opted out as the bed overhung the frame like 16" according to him.Note:He fully intended on scrapping everything except the 465/205 and the springs/axels,all of which he want's on the K5.I wasn't about to let him scrap that Hoekstra flatbed and running 350,so I adopted it.
The cab and front clip that was on it is toast.On my way home from work one day I saw a camo shortbed on a trailer headed for the scrap yard.i inquired within and the owner agreed to drop his trailer in my yard so I could pull the cab/clip in exchange for the toasted cab/clip.Weight for weight as far as scrap goes.I ended up with the axels of the shortbed also.
So I began pulling parts and things just progressed to the point of a complete rebuild inspired by CK5.
Phase one will include:complete dismantling of the truck and undercoating everything.

makes me soooooo jealous!!! but on the flip side, i kinda wanna high five ya for it, funny how the car bug works out that way.
