Project (Not-So) Budget Buggy

Something like this...

Custom fuel cell will have to be made, but Kert should be able to take care of that.

Yeah, I've seen that rig before, looks killer. My rear end will be a little shorter though because of the wheelbase. Hopefully the ass end will come together in the next week or so. I'm reworking my bender at the moment and I'm out of welding gas and I ruined the cord on my miller so I've got a little work to do before anything gets going.

Looks good Mikey. I thought that Yota was supposed to be out!

It needs fenders before it's street legal, and to make fenders we need tabs. :p:

Don't make me call Tracy. :haha:

Ever heard of duct tape...come on honestly

Lookin good Mikey,

Chassis resembles somewhat that of a formula chassis by hendrix.

Im building an x right now, thats custom made to mount to a truck frame. It pretty much looks like a formula chassis except it has the fuel cell supports and its external dimensions are way more narrow and dovetailed than the formula. Keep postin the pics love to see this stuff gettin done with chevys instead of heeps. I work at Currie Enterprises so I get a lot of heat from those jeep guys. Keep up the work.

Didn't work very long today and a plug on the bender reservoir fell out and dumped a gallon of hydro fluid on my garage floor.

You can start to see the lines. :D

Looks good:thumb:

Your dad is so going to kick your ass:haha::haha:

Yeah, he wasn't exactly thrilled. Don't you have a big toy you should be dryhumping?

I'm gonna try and get the rear suspension trailerable and the motor firing and then it'll probably be down at Kert's for finish welding of the suspension and a few other things.

So, then you can take mine back with you and finish it?

ps. It's not a toy

Today brought the suck. Cut and burned the same hand and killed the chop saw...all in two hours. Managed to get all but 1 bar for the doors in but I wanted to do the seat bars and x-brace today as well. Oh well.

Door bars are just a simple x:
