I used 11 cans of grabber green engine enamel, and still have one very small area on the back of the roof that hasn't been painted. I also used most of 1 can of Rustoleum Black Appliance paint.

Once I finish the roof, I can take a pic of it.. Now those front fenders are BEGGING for some black ORD stickers :pimp:

Looks like a giant can of Tang or Ajax :haha:

That said, it takes balls to drive a vehicle like that. Almost as much (many?) balls as it takes to drive a Smurf-blue-camo truck :D

More usefully, congrats, and hope the appliance epoxy turns out for ya. I just remembered I did a truck box in the white, and that stuff is rock solid, I tell ya, so your bumpers should do well. And you could do a black racing stripe and get away with it, like those Dodge muscle cars of the 60's.

i like it! it looks like a giant lime. can you tell me everything you did to prep it for paint? i'm prolly gonna be painting a truck in a while after i fix the rust.

looks really great man.

It is ummm different:o j/k I can't decide what I want to do for paint on mine. So for now it is just gonna stay faded white. On the other side looks like you did a real decent job........no going back now:D

its needs to get dirty and it wont have that "i just painted my truck" look to it... get off you ass and wheel that SOB...

Buddy of mine just sold a K-5 that was that same color. Used to call it Kermit, Marvin the Martion, Miss Piggy. Need something to break up the paint, like some Cuda stripes or something, something to make all the Slopar guys mad.....

Over here our forestry service looks like that. Its not hunter's orange, but its a good bet you won't get shot.:haha:

I'm liking it James, nice job. That is SOOOO much better than it was. I need to get off my ass and do the DD now, you're starting to inspire me. Bumpers and mirrors look nice, how'd you like that paint? Once you get the overspray and newspaper off it, it'll look pretty sharp.
