I need a place with some land and hopefully some out buildings preferably. A small house would be good too. Quonset, pole barn??? I have great credit and some money to put down, prefer owner carry but I would qualify for a conventional loan also. I already own a house in the metro Denver area and I am looking for a place to store some projects and then eventually retire to. Thanks for your help or any leads you can provide.

Montana....I can get you 15 acres next to me for 30k. Privately owned mountain. If you just want a place to play, I'll sell you an acre or two.

I appreciate the offer but after seeing what you need to use to plow your driveway I am thinking something a little further south might be a good idea.

I'm in teller County and the land values here are crazy its like 100k for 2 acres of land in so.e places here...

Same with Lisco Nebraska, there is affordable land but its 15 min from town and the town is 900 people. Excellent hunting though!

If you don't need serious amenities, I saw a lot listed up by Carr, CO for $100K. Almost 30 acres, but no buildings. Carr is kind of a cool little community between I25 & Hwy34 about 20 minutes from the Wyo state line.

wow- I'm always surprised to find the grass isn't so much greener outside of the CA land market...

always expect to hear of 75,000 houses and decent sized land/ lots for 10-25 grand. I guess those days are gone? at least until the next bubble bursts

Where do you think a lot of those people are going when they leave CA? We bought a house in 2001 for $105K, after the housing bubble in 2008 it dropped as low as $60K in value. In 2019 we sold it for $148K. Prices here are continuing to rise. Tons of housing development going on around here and they can't keep up with the demand.
