Wanted to order a Summit Mojave heater so I could tack in my center console if I got that far this weekend. Sat on my thumbs until yesterday and then realized I forgot my password and didn't have a catalog so I didn't know my customer number. Made a quick call to customer service, got everything straightened out, and the guy took my order right there and said that he could get it to me, by ground, by today.

Sure enough, I got home, and there was a big box from summit containing the mojave heater and vent kit I ordered. No rush charges, no BS, great prices and great customer service. Summit is the shiz! :waytogo:

Now if I would have just remembered to order my fuel cell at the same time. :doah:
 
Where are you going to mount your heater unit at? In the stock location? I am not looking forward to replacing my heater core (someday I might rip out the blower fan and the old non-working AC stuff to have more room under the hood) and am considering one of those units. I also agree that Summit is pretty BA nothing but good things to say about them.
 
the only thing i dont like is the "free shipping" when they actually charge you handling fees.:rolleyes:

well, i guess living a half hour away from the store makes up for it:haha:
 
Once ya get her in, let me know if my review was on par with your thoughts.. Tested it good yesterday, 5 degrees here...

I generally use Summit.. I have also had no probs with Jegs, but haven't ordered nearly as often thru them.. Summit has always treated me right... And they're usually cheaper than anyone else...

They do! I cruse it every time I go there. It was picked over really good before Christmas thou, go figure.
I need to check out the Atlanta store.

On a more serious note, I order Summit over Jeg's most of the time because their tech and customer support has always been better to me, and Summit lists more specs on their website. When I was looking for a TC Jeg's never listed what the bolt circle of the TC was and a lot of the 350/400 TC's are the small bolt pattern. I went to the Summit site, found what I wanted in a large bolt pattern, no hassle.
 
Yay I love summit too! I ordered my alt and driveshaft spacer for them and forgot to even look outside and both of them were sitting there for a few days im guessing. too bad they dont send cool hats tho :(
 
Some day I'll make it to the Summit store :rolleyes: It is kind of like my Mecca, I want to travel there at least once in my life. THe one in Nevada is closer, but the one in Ohio, I've heard is where it's at.
