PRP/Corbeau and other aftermarket seats

I don't have any in a pickup but I love my PRP's!!!

I got the high back competition style 2 inches wider with no ribbing and double stitched. They have worn very well (not at all) and I just came in after 3 hours in them. Very comfy

I'm going with some Rhino's in wide for my fat arse....

orange where the gray is....

Are you talking actual Rhino seats as in the off road thing?? And if so why rhino seats??

have you ever seen the ass on a Rhino? There quite huge!, hence the model name "Rhino" :D :haha: :haha:

hey, if the seat fits, ummm, wait a minute... :doah::wink1:

all the standard seats out there, baja's, PRPs, etc all seem to list their standard seat size as being good up to a 38" waist, and ummm, unfortunately I've breached that size... :doah::haha:

I've also heard numerous people complain about them being tight.. I figure for an extra $30 for the wide version, might as well make a $500 pair of buckets as comfy as possible... I'd love some nice weatherproof Beards, but that chits up around a grand... :eek1::(

I'm pushing a 38" waist and I can attest to the seats being kinda tight. I have a set of Corbeau Baja SS Ultra's but I didn't get them in wide, I wish I had.

I`m looking at the PRP daily drivers. I`m pushing a 44" waist..

here is my set of beards. I got the extra wide extra tall with a exrta wide headrest. Only way I would fit in these. A little tight in the cab but it works.

Get something like the mastercraft Rubicons, lower bolstering helps the tight feel to them.

I sat in a set of the regular width PRP's at the local 4wd shop. I forget exactly which series, but they looked similar to the black & gray ones above. They were slitted for the 5pt harnesses and lets just say with my 34-36" waist, I was covering all those slits by a fair bit......I was suprised by the snugness considering they say they fit a 38" waist.

got any more pics, maybe of the mounts?

44? I think you'd definitely be wise investing in the wide version of any... :wink1: :haha::o:p::crazy::wink1:

I'm thinking I may go with the tall, in addition to the wide... PRP also has a pretty good selection, tho pricey, for different slider/flip mounts too...

Looks like you might catch a gun barrel in the ear..

I put a set of wide tall PRP's in my truck, they are a little tight for my 230#. I have since pulled them out and put them in a blazer. I'm going to order a set of wide seats without the headrest for the truck. Here is one in my Blazer.
