There is a tool designed to take them off, Autozone rents them, makes life a lot easier. I am sure there is a homegrown way of doing it, but I just do it the easy way /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I couldn't agree more. GET THE RIGHT TOOL!!!!! I've seen so many people screw up their power steering pumps doing this the wrong way. Just use the right tool, do it once, and do it right.
