Pulling Tranny

How do I go about pulling my tranny from my truck? its gonna be alot cheaper if i pull it myself then take it to get rebuilt.

Is it an auto or a stick ? It isn't too hard either way, and a lot cheaper. If you haven't done something like this before, think safety. Good jacks and some help will be your best friends . Let us know what ya got /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
