I know what the factory rating of my k10 was but after upgrades what would be the limit? It has superlift 2.5" front and rear springs (no blocks) a fairly HD built 700 with a huge cooler, 383 making 450lbs of torque. The hitch is a weight dist with sway bars.

Thinking of pulling the K30 to Moab?

Id say you'd be in the 5-7k range. The load range on the tires is hopefully a D or better. Its not that it wont do it, just how well it will. The short length of the K5 vs your 30ft trailer with a load might not be fun either.

its a K10 or half ton long box. It has Cs on it but the current truck does as well. The trailer weighs 10k loaded with 4 4 wheelers. Time to a/c the tonner.
