Thats the one I carry , it'll bust Series 60 headbolts loose . ISX head bolts too if its fully charged

I have the original 18 volt one.. it's still going strong 10+ yrs later... and thats being a marine mechanic, my tools get TORTURED...

well, I'll give Snappie a bit of credit on the batteries..just a bit...

the new slide-in's are pretty great... the old batteries sucked balls. and yeah, they went from like $85 to like 125 at the end.. i think the new style battery has hung in that 85 to 95 range.. and at least it's a damn good battery... the old ones where pricey, and they sucked.. some held up great, then ya'd get one that'd last 6 months..

What was the total cost on that?

That's the same one I have and love it. Now if you like the 1/2 and get sick of looking for the 1/2 to 3/8 adaptor, just get the new 3/8 gun with the light built it.....its Bdass

ahahah
I like how you opened the case half way
such a tease

damn good price, I was looking at a DeWalt for that price at a swap meet.

Its just the socket set thats valued at $102 new. At first, I thought the entire impact kit was that much which would of been a steal! Damn you teasing us!

Ive had mine for 4 years now, use the crap out of it. You wont regret buying it man. I ended up buying the grease gun too so Ive got 4 batteries now.

If they are NiMh batteries, you can get the housings reloaded when they wear out, for less money than replacements, and often more capacity.
There is a local place close to me that does a lot of reloads, and usually you get a better pack when they are through.

Most places won't touch LiIon due to fire hazard. I have reloaded a couple of packs, but only for my personal use.

i have the first snap-on 12volt grease gun unit. batt finaly died . took it to the local interstate batt store. had it refurbed for less than new and new was on natinal backorder also.

and as you said holds up longer and better.
