Ill post up I installed the aeroquip push-lok fittings for my oil cooler on my 6.2 diesel. Factory lines were leaking so I went up to the local hydraulic shop and they made up some fittings to work. They install quick and yeah you would need a razor to literally cut the hose away from the fitting.

will those type of socketless hose barb fittings work with any hose? For instance, if I were to use marine fuel hose, which is still 3/8ths I.D., but alot thicker rubber, would it work?

yup.... do it every day with those yellow ringed ones i posted a pic of.. the i.d is what matters...

I can`t seem to find the ones you pictured in my size. They`re just essentially a socketless barb, right?

3/8ths line...and I believe 3/8ths NPT, not 100% sure, its the fitting in the manual fuel pump, and the qjet.

ben do you have circle track racing near you? go to a local speed shop and they will carry it. Alot of the racers here use it and thats how I got turned on to it.

yep, they had em. Got stuck with a black on, and a blue one though
