DIY4x poly bushing "race" engine mounts. Installed back in 2012, maybe 2013. Most of you know know Bender and know it wasn't a mall crawler.

Factory rubber AcDelco (or Depo, can't remember) transmission mount. Also installed in 2013ish.

Same set for 10 years

I have mentioned this many times before...you don't need to match your trans mount's material to your engine mount. Not necessary. I understand why it's believed that but you don't need to spend the money unless you want to. I like the factory mount, leaves some wiggle room and vibration dampening.

Rubicon, Moab x4, Pismo dunes x2, Glamis, Hungry Valley x:dunno:, Azusa Canyon x:doah::dunno: and so on. I'm not a mad man with the throttle but I've also never "thrown away bald tires".

See, right there... :haha:

The working theory is that using poly on the trans, and squishy stuff on the engine can break cases. You did the opposite, which nobody seems to argue against. To form a real consensus, everybody submitting data would have to report which (if any) of the braces were installed.

Exactly.

Just offering up what I've been using and prior discussions didn't seem to leave wiggle room for the...cheaper option :rotfl:

Also its not me arguing :haha: I'm always trying stuff, failing, but also occasionally winning by cheaping out :D

The census, that I understood, was they need to match. That was the language. It is easy to do, no foul, just costs more especially if you already have a good trans mount. I even carried an extra mount in the truck just in case. Ended up never even thinking about it, surprised to see it recently lol

And on to the bracing, I have them all :D Bell housing to engine mount rods and Tcase to bell housing rod. Kinda proud of the latter since it needed some free plate steel and free hardware to work with a clocked Tcase.
