I'm getting tired of my 625 demon on my 383...I tune it correctly and its sweet for a while, only to get finicky again.
I'm considering going back to a Q-jet, my boss, old teacher, friends, and I keep reading stuff about how much performance you can get out of them has made me quite serious about doing it.
Anybody gone from a demon/holley to a Q-jet and liked it? Hated it?
I realize, that I'll have to tune it to my engine and specs, but I'm talking average performance.
Also, anybody have any tips to making it perform best?

.....I'm not sure but I just did it for curiousity sake. I won't argue or inisist it can get 11mpg, even if I can only get 9mpg highway I'm still keeping the truck.
