im swapping in a 14 bolt dually and was curious about wheel spacers, anyone have experianced this? what was the fix? or is it best to find someone looking for the dually hubs to trade for the single ones?? thanks

Holy crap! That will make the wheel stance very, very narrow. :eek1::eek1::eek1:

i thought the dually hubs set the h1's out?

Arent they 4 inches wider? So that takes the 7 inch backspacing on the h1 wheels down to a 3 inch backspace, wich is perfect....

i thought the dually hubs set the h1's out a good ways.
Not dually bearing hubs. They go inward more than the SRW hubs.

For 1TUNK5 to make his narrow 14FF to have the stance of a SRW, he just simply needs to swap out the bearing hubs from a SRW over to it.

It would be much easier to swap in a 14FF thats already a SRW and out of a 3/4 ton truck since he won't have to mess with the shock mounts and spring perches along with the brake backing plate flanges, too.

You are thinking of a front DRW model D60.

i have a drw c&c 14ff in my truck. put on 2" thick per side spacers fit no problems . now its the same as a srw axle for width.

lot faster and cheeper than swaping around parts. and if i want drw again unbolt the rear and bam drw. front swap hub/rotors and drw. :wink1:

where did you get the spacers and what was the cost?? im definately more interested in that rather than try to find a set of srw hubs.....i just received my 14 bolt swap kit today from dan at ruff stuff so ill be getting that ready. thanks for the input guys really appreciate it.

ebay specials. around 115-120 shipped.

search my name and use spacers the truck will pop up with the pics. its when i refurbed my rims.

Bringing this back up. What would be the WMS on the dually hubs if left alone on a dually axle? And what would be the WMS if I used SRW hubs on the dually axle? Please consider this if I were using disk breaks. Thanks.

Thanks 'K30. Forgot about the "bible" Looking to find out what is the narrowest set up with a 14 bolt and what axle hub combo would give me that narrow WMS. Maybe the bible will have that.
