question about 1970's tires

The tires in this article (below) look to be 30"-31" in diameter. Were there any tires similar to these in the 70's (tall & narrow, not the wide fat tires) that were 33" and would fit factory rims? Also these rims look to be wider than most factory rims of that time. I like reading about and looking at old photos from the 1970's of chevy 4x4's. Where can I find more? Thanks

7.50 X 16 is usually around 32" high. they will fit most all factory 16" rims. You can still buy them
