I've looked around for a bit trying to find something on the subject, but havent been able to dig anything up. I appologize if I have started another thread on it. I cant stand cluttered forums myself.
To the Point:
I bought an 82 Blazer off of a guy with 35's on the rear and ~32's upfront (they're metric) with no lift. I want to run 35's and have been debating on dropping a grand on a good suspension lift, but came accross another idea.
I found a set of 1 ton leafs at the local salvage yard and they want $50 for them. I thought about combing them with two inch blocks and putting them on my rig.
I'm sure they will clear the 35's, but would like some others input. I've always been against blocks, but saving 700+ dollars is enough to make me think twice. What do you guys think about it?

) but I just put in 3" TC EZ ride springs in the front with some of those cheap ($10 each) superlift scratch n' dent shocks (on extended super duty towers) and some later model (longer) factory brake lines. I've got 35's with some fender trimming and the ride and flex are pretty outstanding considering how reasonable the total cost is.
