question for burb owners

i have an oportunity to purchase 2 3/4 ton subs. one is an 88 2500 with a 350 which has a hole in the oil pan, unk trans and t-case, and some type of overdrive unit off the back end like a gear vendors. it also has an 8 lug 44(doesnt look like a 10 bolt) and has a 14bff (the guy swapped out the 14bsf), 6 in lift, decent interior with a 3rd row seat and ambulance style doors. anyone know what it might be worth??

i also am buying an 80 3/4 ton with a 400/th400/205, 44 or 10 bolt fron , 14bff rear. the motor runs super smooth, but needs a carb for emissions reasons. it too has ambulance style doors. buying for 800 on friday.

im going to part out the 80, but not sure if the 88 is worth buying to part out cuz of the blown engine. anyone have any thoughts?? both have good bodies with minor dings and no rust.

well if you can get them cheep I would say go for it. Someones always needing something. I would give but a couple hundred for it.

IIRC, the '88 should have a Turbo 400 and an NP208, if they haven't been swapped. The overdrive might be worth some bucks, if it still works.

the 88 def has a th400 in it but the case 'i think' will be a 241... buy them both, put a motor in the 88 daily drive it... sounds like a good deal... if the 88 is in good shape its still worth a couple grand without a motor...
