Question from RUSSIA!Master cilinder dont pumping(Help!

Hello Brothers!!I have problems with brake system..so..I set new gidravlique tandem brake master cilinder (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AAZ-10-1863/?rtype=10 ) on my Chevy K5 Blazer 6.2 diesel 1984 with gidrobust..during the pumping tandem brake master cilinder ,on the moment of pedal pushing,only from front(for front brake line with open fiting) tank goes power stream.From back tank(for rear brake line with open fiting)go Weak splashes..i pumped for two hours-with connect rear brake line and without it--
useless...remove new master cilindr...open it and take out secondary piston and compare new primary cap with old one.They are different a little.Are these differents importants?How to pump master cilinder right way????If anyone has any instruction,rules for pumping my new tandem brake master cilinder-please answer or send to my email [email protected] Mega Thanks.Anton-Russia-Moscow

OK then try to bleed the air out of the master cyl before you hook you lines up You might even have to hold you finger over the port to get it to push brake fluid

if that dont work put the lines in the brake cyl pump the brakes bleed the lines at the master cyl

Guys, don't you have to bench bleed a new master cylinder first? I always thought you did. If yes, then Kuth do this:

1. Remove master cylinder out of the truck.

2. Place the master cylinder in a vise on a table

3. Block the openings to the brake lines so no fluid comes out.

4. Fill the master cylinder with brake fluid

5. Pump the cylinder until no more bubbles come out.

6. Install in your truck.

^^^^this guys got it!^^^^^ go with the bench bleed. I've found that to solve most brake bleed issues.

if its already installed in the truck, and its going to be a pain to remove it, go buy a 30 cm length of brake line with threaded flaired fittings that will fit into your master cylinder ports. cut this line in half, each being 15 cm long. screw the fittings into the ports, and bend the lines up and over and into the top of the master cylinder tank. proceed with the pumping. bubbles will come out of the lines and into the tank. keep pumping until there are no more bubbles.
