Can someone with an NP208 laying around measure for me the amount the output shaft breeches the tailshaft housing ?

I got you. Looks like 15/16" from the seal face to the edge of the output shaft.
I would imagine pulling the seal would add about a 16th to that.
dont have one to check, but its an interesting question - whats up?
When I put this driveshaft in I forgot to measure this as I took my measurements for new shaft from yoke > np208 tail housing when I took the TC drop out so it would be correct to frame with new driveshaft. Forgot that the np208 output shaft sticks out a little further than housing. I was going to guess 1”-1.25” but just wanted to be sure. So thank you @cheavyk10!
