Questions about the air cleaner stud for TBI units

I have finished the TBI swap on my K5 some time ago and need to top off the system with the stock are cleaner assembly. I have the spacer and the stud but it doesn’t seem to work for me. I the stud doesn’t go all the way through the lid for me to tighten it. Anyone have any pics of their setup for me to see so I can fix this.

just get some queture inch all thread and bend a new longer one.
i had to do this when i put my k&n on.
