Ok I now have a 700r4 with an np208 is it possible to swap in an Np205?

Yeah it's doable. IIRC need a 350/205 adaptor and either swap the 700 output or cut the excess off. Dunno bout spacers....

you will need a 1" spacer from www.automatickings.com 80$ US and then the 205 needs to be from a th350 27spline
I just did this swap. Here is what you need:
205 from a th-350 (27 spline)
factory 350-to-205 adapter
shifter (I went to a twin stick)
27 spline coupler sleeve
flat style crossmember and mounts

I had to have my front shaft shortened and a new rear shaft made.
You will also have to cut about 3/8" off of your output shaft. (go slow don't get it too hot. It is hardened and you don't want to take out the temper)

One tip I can give you is make new studs. Don't use the ones with the kit. They were too short for me. I made new ones about an inch longer and it made it alot easier.

Any ideas on clocking the 205?
