just today my front driver wheel bearings went out on my 6 lug 10b front, i have in the garage and 8 lug covnersion and i need to know if:

the 8 lug wheel bearings are same as 6 lug?

do i need to swap a spindle too?

torque spec for used bearings?

also where do i get those tiny axle shaft bearings in the spindle?

thanks alot guys!:bow::bow:

All depends on what year the 8 lug conversion is from. The early years used different size (smaller) inner wheel bearings. If you have the early 8 lug then you'll need spindles also.

Torque spec for wheel bearings is the same for either new or used.

The spindle bearing kit is an SBK1 and most auto parts stores can get them for you. The kit gives you the thrust washer, spindle bearing, and both seals for the stub axle.

As long as your 8 lug conversion uses the same internal lockouts as your 10 bolt it will be the same wheel bearings and spindles.
