okay so ive got a d60 sitting in my garage. soon im going to throw it in the front of my 87 suburban. i'm going from a 4'' to 8'' lift (i'm going to do the 56'' spring swap later i just dont have the time right now but i found a good deal on springs in the next town over)
anyways i was thinking about doing crossover, but looking at the cost and time involved, i dont think ill be able to complete it before next summer. im a full time student in college and also a full time employee. it's been killing me that my truck is inoperable. (and i dont have any money)
so my question is, do i really need to do crossover for what i do? i like to do trails like this with my buddy sometimes:

my truck did it fine with my current setup. 4'' lift and 36''s.
i dont do trails like that all the time. i like running mud pits and hill climbs and those trails out at hollister.
do i really need crossover steering for that?

): About $50
and be done or you could do a 64" swap rear
