I got to rip the passenger side one off my cucv tommorow, and im dreading the heat. anything i should know or is it simple?

It's simple.
1. Disconnect negative on both batteries.
2. Loosen it so that you have slack in the belt.
3. Remove belt.
4. Disconnect charge wire in back.
5. Remove mounting bolts.

It'll come right off.

Reverse procedure to install new one.

Later,
Buddy
