Im pretty sure of this but just wana double check and makesure. A np205 that was hooked to a th350 will hook right up to a sm465 and vice versa? or is there an adapter plate that you need to use?
I think the 205 behind a TH350 has a different input shaft, don't quote me on that.... IIRC all of the different versions of the 205 are listed on off road design's webpage
the 205 behing a th350 is a 27 spline...for a 465 they are mostly 10 spline or 32 spine in some cases...you would have to change the input also i think the adapter is diffrent because the auto's share trans fluid between the trans and trasfer case...

I think 4x4HIGH's point was that no case shares the same bath of oil ( no matter what kind - even if the two are of similar type ) with the tranny .
They each have their own levels and splash lube needs therefore they are always seperated by seals so that one does not flow into the other.
