Those of yall that have done this, were yall able to put the door back on by yourselfs? I tried for about 15 minutes and gave up cause its wasnt going anywhere and getting dark. Any tips?or do I just need to wait for a helping hand. Drilling that hole was a PITA. I used trailer plugs for my locks and windows, I thought it turned out pretty slick so I will post up some pics once I get them back on.

I have done it myself maybe two times total (one was while writing that article). Having a friend makes it 1,000,000,000,000 times easier.

Well idk about the quick release ones but i have changed a set of doors by myself before. Taking the old ones off and bolting the new ones on with the hinges. The Power ones were a pain in the a** but the roll up ones weren't too awful hard. Having 2 people would be alot easier though i'd imagine

I got them back on, I almost think it would be faster to unbolt the hinges and just make some alignment marks to put them back on with. The trailer plugs were nice though.

That's what i did. Marked it with a sharpie and started the bolts. Then whenever i got it aligned right tightened it down. You just gotta make sure you get the right amount of shims in. It's a finesse thing for me i guess

So how much do these weigh? I just bought a set of tube doors from Blazen offroad , (and there tube winch bumper).
I think Im gonna make some kinda stand out of 2x4`s to help mount the doors back on.

I couldnt tell you but around 80 or so if i had to gues. I dont have much trouble picking them up, but holding them and moving them while trying to insert the pins is akward. For me the doors pretty much had to be PERFECT for the pin to slide in. I was thinking next time I will pull into the garage and suspend the doors. as B_C said, having a friend help makes it a million times easier, its not to bad that way just need a little patience.

yeah, i remove and install mine solo. to install, i get it in position, stick screwdrivers i place of the pins to line things up and hold the weight. then, i just support the door with one hand, pull a driver out and replace it with a pin, insert the cotter, and repeat. maybe 90 seconds per door.

So how much do these weigh?

not much, i'd say. i don't even use 2 hands to carry them. mine have manual windows.
