The inpipe in my muffler broke while replacing my converter, and now I need a new one. I need it quiet for it is my daily driver without any insulation on the floor board and a soft top, so I hear everything outside. What is a good muffler that is quiet and performs better than the original?

I run 2 1/4 true duals, with no cats (sorry) and "Turbo" something mufflers. Nice and quiet, can listen to the radio....Heck, I can even talk to, and hear the person next to me.... But when I hit the gas, it sounds really good. I am, and am around, alot of rednecks, and every single one of them have loud exhaust. Cheap, nasty a$$, loud exhaust. Anybody can make a truck loud, but a well built truck doesn't have to be. I like the way I can hear my engine run well. Disclaimer: Just my opinion. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

I've found the futher back (tords the rear) you put the muffler(s), the Quieter it'll sound inside the vehicle.

that makes sense doesnt it

pull a ricer and have glasspacks for your tips on your tailpipe
