I recently installed these ready to go, rotor, hub assemblies. They come with the races for the bearings pre-installed. I purchased separately the Timken brand inner and outer bearings. My question is, are the bearings (Timken) and the races that come pre-installed in these rotor assemblies compatible with each other, or do you need to match the “Timken” bearings with the exact matching “Timken” races?

Bearings come in matched sets by cup and cone taper as well as others like height and diameter measurements. That being said gm specified those dimensions and you can mix and match manufacturers with cup and cone of the same set.
It would drive me crazy to not have timken races but theres nothing wrong with it as it is.

I figured it was much easier to buy those complete, ready to go, rotor and hub assemblies rather than getting my old rotors turned, knocking out races and trying to separate the hub and lug studs.
