Hey all, I'm looking for a new radiator for my 71 k5 and was hoping someone might point out a good source.

I got mine at radiators.com and it's been fine.

They're web site is realy confusing though, but you can just call and get it that way. You can save some cash by picking it up yourself too.

I bought a 4 core direct replacement from a local quality auto parts store for my 69 K20 for right about $200 probably three years ago. I fit perfectly and has worked well.

I've read of numerous people here and at www.67-72trucks.com who have bought from www.radiators.com and I think the price was alot closer to $100. Every post I have read was positive.

When I was looking I noticed all of the online sources had different prices depending on year and whether you had an automatic but the final part number was the same. For example, my radiator was for a 69 with manual tranny but the radiator I received was set up for an auto (intank auto tranny cooler)

Hopefully someone can respond who actually has bought from radiators.com so you have more than just my second hand info.

Thanks all! Just ordered a 4-core from radiators.com and it came to just over $200. They promised delivery tomorrow too! Unfortunately, they don't have mounting hardware, as I'm upgrading from a 2-core, so now I'm off to order that.

I went through the same thing. Did not realize it until I already had the new radiator, that was a bummer.

Received the radiator today - it looks great except I had to shake some loose solder pieces out of it. The mounting hardware comes wednesday, so this coming weekend I'll probably do the replacement.

I need to order a new radiator as well.....where did you end up getting the mounting hardware?

Thanks for the link.....I ordered my 4-core from Radiators.com yesterday and it came in one day. I paid 215.00....quick service!

Yeah, I ordered mine Saturday afternoon and got it Monday - MLK day. The guy said he was sorry it couldn't be delivered Sunday!
