Will definitely have to make it up there some day. 9 hour drive. I could not find the rules for truck classes. Do you have a direct link. Not sure if mine would fall in any class. Stock motor and trans, suspension on steroids.

I finally hit 15 posts so I can contibute to this thread--
Here's my frontend, well, in the build stage--

my steering shaft solution for better coilover clearance-
![]()
It's tight up there, drag link tucks between the engine crossmember, and track bar has about 3/4" of oil pan clearance, and that was with the small block in there...haven't gotten the 454 in to check yet but there may be some issues...

couple more...Looks like a nice start... keep posting pics!![]()
I like your build... and it looks good.
I do recommend looking at your track bar up front though. The clearance is really important. I also like going fast. My blazer has 4 link front and rear with bypasses and coilovers (dana 60 up front). I have driven faster than my parts could handle and my "fuse" is the track bar apparently. It bent, hit the oil pan, and cracked mounts and the steering box. I also have waaay more clearance than you do (though you mount is shorter).
Just my experience...
but he can wheel it a whole lot harder.
and when its all a big piece of weld and gusset.... take your parts and build a new chassis![]()

Using a coil-over as you are, you might consider another tie-in from your upper bar to the frame. I have more even though the weight is on my leafs. Just a thought.

BACK FROM THE DEADDDD!!!
Did this ever go anywhere? Im looking into radius arms also and there isn't a whole lot about them on here

Everything....now that I re-up'd my membership, what do you want to know about radius arms?![]()
