Rare Florida CL find

Cool truck but how is it a 3 door?Cant see the dr side so maybe 1 door that side and dont count the rear gate as a door?looks good for $1400 though.

Not counting the gate it has three doors. Two on the passenger side, and one on the drivers side. Kinda goofy IMO.

Only thing I can think is its so your kids get out curb side only and dont get hit by a car.

67-72 Burbs have three side doors, not four like the 73+.

That one was built during the famous door shortage of the Carter years.
It was pretty much overshadowed by the gas shortage, but just as devastating.

Some companies tried to get by by leaving off one door, while the AMC pacer tried to lure customers by offering their cars with 20% more door on one side.

Yep that was the Idea,

And if you think about other than International even made a vehicle to compete with the suburban,

"The Chevrolet Suburban the original SUV and the best "

( travelalls are cool though)

First gen Burb would be 1935. I think you mean a 1967-72 Burb ;)

I donno about the door shortage -- and I forgot about the Pacer having one door longer than the other -- but the Travelall, the Burb's competition of the time, only had the three doors for a while.
