rattle less paint job

well i got another truck its a 77 gmc 3/4t d44 front 14b rear 203 with part time and a th350 4" 35's its another project but also a daily driver the question is i have a gallon of paint that around here we call rig paint its tough as hell and sticks to anything but i have no idea how to thin it or if it needs hardener or if i should just roll it on lol a little help would be great

read the paint can..... i'm using rustoleum and it says on the can what to thin it with and how much to thin it without knowing anything else about the paint you have thats the only advice i can give
