Rausch Creek Spring 2015 Meet, Greet, and Beat!

Kelly and I are in!

You guys have an idea what our trucks are capable of.:dunno:
We don't want to destroy the trucks but are very comfortable with the challenging stuff.

Some easier runs are fine too, we don't want to hog all the tough stuff.:D

Looking forward to it!!!!!!

Thats kinda why we wanna split it all up- maximum park coverage and a lot of good wheeling :D

So, I wanna do a quick head count here....

We are planning on most likely breaking up the group so that we can see as much of the park as possible. If any of you are planning on coming, please post up your rig and your capabilities, this way we can get a semi-organized (yeah, right) plan so that we can maximize the enjoyment for everyone coming.

I'll be bringing my Blazer and I am comfortable doing Blues/Blacks, on the easier side of the black trails though.

I'm bring my pile of parts....Reds, Black and Blue, Doesn't matter me I just like being out in the woods and rocks.

I will definitely be there with my co pilot Jake as always , and I'll run what ever :D

I'm bringing the fire truck and plan on running some easier trails if there are people coming who want to have some fun on 33s-35s.

I guess now is as good a time to let the cat out the bag. Our group (me + 2 trucks hopefully) will be running blacks, blues and reds or whatever formud is running :thumb: And yes I have a ton of work left to do.

Any of yall want to plan a CK5 wheeling trip to somewhere like Uwharrie or Gulches etc.? Something for us east coast Ck5ers below the mason Dixon line, not really sure I want to get mixed up with them people up there. Haha totally kidding on that one, I don't care who you are if you drive a k5, your cool. But seriously, for us down south it's a long expensive trip all the way to PA. Plus if you breakdown frequently like myself it might be dam near Labor Day by the time I get up there lol. Thoughts?

I'd be up for this sometime :waytogo:

And yes I have a ton of work left to do.

I'll come down......$85 an hour + beer + food + tip and gratuities + more beer + a chair to sit in while drinking the above beer......No charge for all the smart ass comments.:D

nah there is and has been a 60 in there for a while now. Just have it up on jack stands working on the motor/ steering.

Just started on the repairs to the Sub

Just over a month out.... What's everyone working on?

Here is an update on our prep work.

Finally had a weekend to work on the Suburban.
New AGR steering system is in place.
Cut out the old beat up factory rocker panels and replaced with 2 x 3 tube and added DOM slider tubes with Perforated steel as running boards.

I'll update the burb build thread later today.

New Pitbull rocker radials and steel wheels on Kelly's rig.

Plenty more to be done but 1 thing at a time...

Finally got doubler parts, so that and a new crossmembers setup/ belly skid....and hopefully some time for a nose job :D

Jay have your Daddy give me a call....

Well slap me on the ass, look who it is!!!!
I tried calling a while back, your cell still the same?

As for what I've done.....I pulled the truck out of the shop Sat, then pulled it back in a couple of hours later....Nothing broke, leaked or fell off.

I'll be up there this weekend ( Running the Jeep ) I'll see if anything has changed trail wise. I was up in Jan and there has been some logging going on, but trails weren't effected, except for some main trails were rutted...Hard to tell how bad, everything was frozen solid. It was a little disorienting with it all opened up in places.
