I bought a new tent.

Trucks done.....Even changed the oil in the tow rig. The only thing left is to load up.

Still don't have my doubler in :doah: hopefully this weekend...need to replace my blown out rear shocks now too (playing tow truck to my buddies CJ didn't agree with them)...but come hell or high water I'll be there!!:woot:

Electrical Gremlins!!!

Trying to sort out some serious electrical issues on the Suburban.

I believe my steering column electrical is cooked..?
When I turn on the key my signal markers are both on and smoke rolls out of the column...
Front and rear left side bulbs keep blowing so there has to be an additional feed coming from a short in the system.

I'm working on finding the problem.
Fingers crossed that its solved and repaired this weekend.

My daughter has a dance performance that Friday so I'm not going to make it up. Hope y'all have a good time!

Long range weather report looks good.....Mid to upper 70s and partly cloudy day and upper 50s at night.

Was up there this Sat.....Still real dusty on the East property where all the logging was done, lots of stumps and branches just waiting for a sidewall.
The Northeast is now open for the rest of the year at no charge. I never got a chance to check reds over there, just black and blues. Some fun stuff, but mostly greens.
Was supposed to rain some on Sun and thunder storms today, so it should be about the same conditions this coming weekend.

Not looking good for us

Can't seem to locate the circuit responsible for the cooked wires in my steering column.
Still working on it.
I'll update you guys tomorrow if we are still going to make it.

They open the gate at 8:00 AM on Fridays.

I can get there anytime....If anyone wants to get there early or late morning and hit the trails for 1/2 day, I'm game......If no one is interested, I'll there in the afternoon sometime.

Anyone know what the head count is?

At this point, it seems a lot of people backing out. I think theres gonna be about 10-12 CK5'ers plus some friends of everyone else... I am gonna get there around 10ish on Friday I think.

I'll be there friday afternoon, depends on a few things at this point but I should be there by 5 at the latest.

I'm not planning on riding Friday, I may poke around the comp course as I have 0 seat time on this rebuild but don't worry about waiting on me.
