Ah a Clod Buster, that was our first R/C truck. Then we down sized to the 1/10 scale crawlers...

I want to build a scale crawler next, but want to get the real truck done first...

Obijuan on here has a bad ass rig. It inspired me to build one of my K5, but I lost interest in the build when I swapped axles. I need a new chassis and a new xfer case/tranny. Here is how it sits now...

I've had a dozen other R/Cs from Micro-Ts to HPI Bajas over the past few years.

Where do you get a blazer body?

I saw a blazer body on ckrccrawlers.com.

So after doing a bit of research I am thinking about getting a Losi crawler from the above site as a kit. Any suggestions?
This will really only be used for fun and no actual events or anything crazy. I mostly just want something to play with around the yard and when we camp in the desert.

Where do you get a blazer body?

It was a Clodbuster body, which was a longbed pickup. I cut it off behind the cab and shortened it and then had to make a new bed. You can find the Clodbuster bodies on ebay pretty regularly.

What/where did you get the Hummer look alike wheels and what axles do they fit?

theyre tamiya 8 bolt hummer wheels then i machined a 12 bolt ring to bolt on little stainless studs. no beadlock and its a 12mm hex like most wheels BUT its a 1.9 size wheel. very small relative to the rest of the wheels out there.

Ive got a modded Rustler and am putting peices together for a 1.9 K5. Probably going to run a Pro-Line body. Body lines wont be right if I can get a 91 Grille sticker made up somewhere but I guess Ill deal with it.
