RE: Radiators:

8yrs ago, I installed a 6.2 4-core brass in my burb, the last run in the desert it was 128*. Ran the A/C front and back. Did just fine

I run a 31"by 19" 4 core(454 type) brass with both airs in 110* never a problem and that pulling a 19' in board-out board boat. It is over 15 years in Blazer.

I'd steer clear of Flex-a-lite. Their Radiators were junk, they warrantied three of them for me before I told them to bag their junk.
I have a feeling all those super expensive aftermaket jobs are just that, junk in a box with a big price and lots of hype'd marketing to make it seem like their the best of the best. That flex-a-list setup was $800 with fans and controller, and the radiator was junk, as well as the controller.

That said, I replaced that radiator with a Howe unit and it has been trouble and leak free.

That's all great, but where can you find a 6.2 radiator? Part #'s?
Mine came from Northern.
Brass tanks, copper tubes.
I'll see if I can dig up the receipt.
I recall it was about $480 for that 6.2 radiator.

Edit: 432098 Murray which is Vista-Pro.
Mine came from Northern but I think the got it from Murray.
Fits my 1986 m1009 which is just a K5 Blazer with a 6.2.
Oodles of them online.
There is even one second hand but brand new for $275 on a well known internet auction site.
Just search 432098 Vista-Pro.
