I don't need a tank per se, but in my case being I have the room I plan to use a 5 or 10 gallon one under the bed.
i bet if you used it for 1 day with no tank then swap in a 5 gal tank and did the same things again for 1 day you would never remove the tank.

You can never go wrong having a tank of some sort with compressed air. In this case it safe to say that your batteries will thank you for running one. Would be crazy amp draw that thing running nonstop 
. I'd go with a ten gallon or at least two fives depending on space to mount them.
