I let my rear go to far and replaced the shoes and hardware, I also had one cylinder leaking I replaced. I bled the brakes and have a good pedel. I also adjusted the adjusters out tell I could just fit the drums over them, but I dont think they are adjusted right, the parking brake barely works. I tried the backing up and braking trick with no luck. I know the rears weren't working cause I could hear the fronts sliding when I braked. My 10bolt also doesn't have holes or a plug in backing plate to adjust them with the drums on. Looks like i'll be pulling the drums off UGH!

also my stupid brake light is still on the dash. I tried pushing in the nipple on the valve under the radiator.

I'd suspect your rears aren't bled enough if you have weak rear braking AND the light is on.

that wouldn't affect my parking brake right? thats why I think its adjustment. will be easier to figure out when I get my lazy ass to drag my jack outside
