Looking for pics on how people are mounting rear bump
stops. My truck presently has none. It twisted the rear
leaves like a pretzel when stuffed. Thanks for any input

I don't see how the springs could be wrecked before the shocks on that setup. A popular bump-stop to use lately is a Timbren air spring. Search here on Timbren and you'll find some setups. Cheaper than a real air bump, but works better and more durable than a simple poly one.

Springs don't look to bad from that angle.

The tire ends up quite a bit into the wheel well before the shock is to
its bump. I really don't want to use the shocks as my primary stop.
Anybody got pics of their set ups?

76zimmer has some real good pics of his timbrens mounted in his iron maiden thread:waytogo:

sorry, no help :waytogo: but interested in the topic

Are those stock rear springs?

Regardless, looks like you took the overload out. I'd put that back in and call it a day.

56" rear springs, I did remove the overload. Foe some
reason I did not like it together with the zero-rates.

The overload will keep the springs from over-flexing and won't change anything otherwise. I would consider the rear overloads to be your "bump-stops" if you will.

What Chris says. I never lose my rear springs from over flexing. I run the factory overloads. Usually don't hurt them too bad from axle wrap either ( unlike my fronts). I typically get bound up and end up bending a leaf or 2 or 5
