I heard some knocking around this past weekend in the rear wheel so I pulled the LR wheel off last night and noticed the bar at the bottom of the brum brakes was off. Tried to but it back into place and nada, she wont stay, springs all feel real week but the cylinders are not leaking.

Does anyone make a complete rebuild kit? Not sure if the drums are out of spec but I cant imagine they would be too expensive too replace. Its a 78 1/2 ton. What kind of cost am I looking at and will I need any special tools?

Thanks for any info, I hate drum brakes.

Check out napaonline.com

You can search out the kit there, I think I paid about $20 to do my rear 14SF with Napa parts.

Thanks Guys, Napa online was down, called the store and all is good. Now do I need any special tools?

Not really, there are some cheapo universal tools (NAPA should have them) that help get the springs on, but a good pair of channel locks also work.
