Rear Glass interchange

I know the tailgates from a K5 to a Sub don't interchange but what about the glass? Is it possable to swap the inner stuff over between gates? The difference in the gates is so small and not really in the glass area. Anybody tried this?

Nope, they will not interchange, the shape is different and one is way taller than the other.

What about the power window motor and brackets? Can those be swapped from a Sub to a K5 tailgate?

well aren't you just a bundle of bad news. So I got a K5 tailgate and top and was going to chop the burban this spring. No way to keep the power window and ditch the crank? Were power windows an option on K5s?

If your plans are to chop the back-top off the burb and use a K5 topper on it, then you should be able to make the K5 tailgate work.....the gate width is the same, would just have to maybe do something about the height.

From what I read the middle height is the same, the difference is on the sides where the suburban goes up the pillar but the K5 does not. I have both here now , I will measure.
