The rear lights on my 87 1/2 ton 4x4 have been intermitently going on and off I traced it down to the plug where the harness coming from the firewall connects to the harness that goes to the lights at the rear crossmember. The wires where corrded really bad on came off completely when I unhooked it. My question is, where can came I purchase the complete connector. I want both sides of it male and female. I was gonna just hard wire the lights back in but wanna retain the connector for my trailer lights which is inline of this connector. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the local junk yards, it would only be a few dollars. Cut enough extra wire to splice later.

P.S. I like to stagger splices when doing multiple wires so I don't get a large wad of shrinktube and tape in one spot

Junkyards ya but the plug will have been on the truck for over 20 years and up here in Maine just as corrded as mine leaving me with the same problem in a year or so.

I am looking for a place where I can buy the plugs new.

4 wires square plug. The reason I wanna really use the same plug style is because of my trailer wiring plugs directly into the plug inline
