So, it's about time to finish my doubler up. The only real thing that I need to figure out is what I want to do with the rear yoke.
Do I want to get a flange or u-joint style yoke? I really want to push the rear axle back a couple inches and point it up at the case, but realistically, I probably won't do anything with the axle for now.
On the axle I have a 1350 joint. What should I do and why? Also, any links to what I should do would be helpful.

Flange and cv, both 1350

I agree. I tried to get a non CV set up to work but could not shim the vibes out. (7" suspension, rear driveshaft approx 35" riding length)

Any suggestions on a flange?
For reference, the 205 is one of those goofy synchro units. I can count the splines if needed. It was a slip yoke style, but I converted it to fixed yoke.

The syncro'd version is only different in the front output shaft and shift forks so the rear is the usual fare, especially since it's converted to a bolt on yoke - 32 spline.

Maybe consider this - https://ck5.com/forums/threads/whos-using-a-super-duty-cv-driveshaft.306433/#post-3264587 - mid 2000's F350's and Dodge CTD's used a 1350 CV front driveshaft. Find one of those and then buy a flange with the appropriate bolt pattern.

I lucked up and found my CV shaft used in a buggy part out but I had to buy the Flange from H.A.D., I don't remember the price but seems like it was close to $200 with freight and bolts.

The 32 spline np205 flange is a available through ORD for $125

I remember reading that thread back when you started it. I'll start looking for those driveshafts and go from there.
I switched to working weekend nights, and now I train people. Most of the time the people I'm training already know what to do, so I get a lot of Internet searching in.

Looking online, there seems to be a split in 03-10 and the 11-14, but I don't know what the difference is. Whatever I get will probably have to be shortened.

Good deal, maybe we can squeeze some BBQ time in there somewhere.

Still haven't gotten a flange or even touched the truck.... Going throw a divorce, but this is closer to running than my chevelle, so I need to get it running and driving.

Can someone post a link for a rear flange so I can buy it and get a driveshaft? The only thing that's keeping the truck from driving as far as I know is driveshafts and reworking the exhaust around the doubler. Probably fixing some wires that mice munched on.

ORD sells the flange.http://offroaddesign.com/catalog/Transfer Case Yokes.htm

@85 Jimmy Sorry to hear you're going through divorce, if you need anything holler.

It's been a long time coming. It's been pretty civil though, she knows if it gets nasty, she'll be the one that gets the worst of it.

I need someone to motivate me to finish the blazer and chevelle! Wanna help out with that @nvrenuf ?

I'm probably not your best motivational prospect. I did put up one of those 6' long bench type swings in the shop recently if you need lessons on sitting and staring at a Blazer. :D

Measured a round about figure for the front and rear shaft. The front is around 38" from middle of yoke the the flange and the rear is about 35" from the rear yoke to the output of the tcase. A super duty shaft may bolt into the front with a conversion joint or 1350 yoke on the axle end.

Need to count the splines on the rear output. Looks like ORD only has 32 spline flanges, but NWF has 32 and 30 spline flanges
