What gauge of wire do you use to replace the old wiring? From fuse box or run inline fuse from other source?
Are relays used? Don't want to fry anything.
I unplugged the connection at the firewall and put battery to it and the window motor was weak. And battery straight to the window motor makes it move like it should, and then some.
There are 3 wires that run to the rear tailgate to work the window motor.
1. black/orange to tailgate switch. Constant on.
2. Light blue is spliced and goes a) to cut out switch then to motor, b) comes from tailgate switch
3. Tan is spliced to a) motor and b) comes from tailgate switch.
There is also a ground wire, so make it 4 wires.
Is there any reason to replace all the wire with new or is there a better solution?
